With over 27 years of professional experience, Ar. Rahul Tyagi stands as a distinguished name in India’s contemporary architectural landscape. As the Managing Director and Principal Architect of RT & Associates Pvt Ltd, and the Vice President of the Architects Association of Noida, he continues to shape the built environment through design innovation, sustainability, and a deep understanding of human experience.
A graduate in Architecture from M.S. University (1997) and Master of Design from IIT Delhi (2000), Ar. Tyagi blends academic excellence with practical design insight. He is a Certified Evaluator and Trainer for GRIHA and a Registered Architect with the Council of Architecture (CA/97/22027), with memberships in the Indian Institute of Interior Designers, Institute of Valuers, and the Indian Green Building Council (IGBC).
Under his leadership, RTA Designs has delivered a diverse range of projects — from large group housing and institutional campuses to corporate offices, interiors, and infrastructure developments. Guided by a philosophy that design should serve both people and the planet, every RTA project blends creativity, sustainability, and performance.
His award-winning portfolio includes landmark projects such as the Dr. Ambedkar International Centre, Janpath, the CGEWHO Group Housing Complex, and the Corporate Office of the Export Inspection Council, Ministry of Commerce. His design excellence has been recognized with honors including the A’ Design Award (Italy, 2019) and the FOAID Creative Minds Award (2018).
Beyond practice, Ar. Tyagi has been a Visiting Faculty at the School of Planning and Architecture (SPA), New Delhi since 2004, nurturing the next generation of architects. He is also a regular speaker and panelist at national and international design platforms such as WADE Asia, ZAK Exhibition, AIDAC, and SMARTEX.
